Asian Istanbul, Turkey, 2021, collaboration as 41NE with Angie Aguilera and Emma Amidei for GAD Foundation's Treehouse Park Competition.

Section_1 copy.jpg

A treehouse park inspired by a self-composed mythical tale that depicts the current precarious relationship between humankind and nature. The tale's protagonist, an overly-ambitious dragon who disregards the consequences of his ambition on his homeland, inspires the project's architectural character, planning, and language on various levels.

Energy Park

fitness

Circled by a running track users can discover various fitness equipment scattered among the trees. Innovative energy technology is used to capture the energy of people and convert it to useable electricity to power the park. This creates a strong sense of community while also having the obvious benefits of health and mental well-being by exercising in the forest.

Working Zone

The productivity zone is the ideal, peaceful destination to study alone, work together in groups or have casual business meetings in the trees. Working outdoors has many benefits for productivity and health and should become the norm in urban life.
