Asian Istanbul, Turkey, 2021, collaboration as 41NE with Angie Aguilera and Emma Amidei for GAD Foundation's Treehouse Park Competition.

A treehouse park inspired by a self-composed mythical tale that depicts the current precarious relationship between humankind and nature. The tale's protagonist, an overly-ambitious dragon who disregards the consequences of his ambition on his homeland, inspires the project's architectural character, planning, and language on various levels.

Observation Area
A secluded space dedicated to immersing in nature. The observation area has assorted modules which prioritise vantage points to experience life in the trees. A giant hanging net is the ideal place to lay down and gaze up at the sky or watch the forest floor come to life.

Energy Park
Circled by a running track users can discover various fitness equipment scattered among the trees. Innovative energy technology is used to capture the energy of people and convert it to useable electricity to power the park. This creates a strong sense of community while also having the obvious benefits of health and mental well-being by exercising in the forest.

Play Area
The play area brings anyone’s treehouse fantasies to life. Extra colourful module adaptations are linked with suspension bridges, with scattered play equipment and a netted path around the perimeter inspired by the dragon.
