Boost your grades and design confidence with expert critique and creative support.
About the lessons
Struggling to develop your design studio project or unsure how to get the marks you want? As a university tutor myself, I know exactly what your instructors are looking for—and I can help you get there. Whether you’re stuck in the early design stages, working through feedback, or developing final drawings, I’ll guide you through theory, idea generation, representation, and presentation. I offer flexible support across software (Rhino, Grasshopper, Adobe Suite, Unreal, SketchUp, AutoCAD), design strategy, and research references. We’ll refine your pitch, improve your layout, and elevate the conceptual clarity of your project.
I also provide portfolio reviews and guidance—whether for submission, job applications, or grad school. So, book a session and let’s take your studio work to the next level.

About your instructor
I’ve spent the last several dedicated to architectural academia, working closely with students as a tutor, lecturer, and course coordinator. I’ve written course briefs, delivered dozens of lectures, created assignments, and assessed countless projects across many different studio formats and design schools. That range has given me a clear understanding of what makes student work succeed—not just formally, but conceptually, technically, and strategically.
I aim to support you not just in presenting your ideas clearly, but in shaping them more confidently from the start. Whether you’re preparing for a crit, building your portfolio, or simply needing a sounding board for your design thinking, I bring patience, structure, and honest feedback to the table. I also offer the flexibility to jump into various softwares when needed to help get the job done (including Rhino, Grasshopper, Unreal Engine, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator).
I’ve helped students gain entry into top programs around the world with regular tutoring, but more importantly, I’ve helped them feel proud of the work they’re doing. Studio should be a space of growth, experimentation, and clarity—and that’s how I approach teaching it.

SL
"Oliver is a great architecture tutor. He has been very patient and helpful throughout all of our meetings. I particularly find it hard to work digitally and Oliver has been helping me immensely with learning sketch up. Moreover, I found it very useful the way Oliver explains and helps to develop a design concept."
