Tutoring for

Unreal Engine 5 for Architecture & Digital Art

Bring your worlds to life with stunning, cinematic real-time visuals.

About the lessons

Overwhelmed by Unreal Engine and not sure where to begin? I get it—Unreal is massive, but you don’t need to know everything to use it powerfully for architecture. We’ll focus only on what you need: clean scene setup, optimal workflows, and tools that make your visuals sing. Whether you’re aiming for cinematic animations, flythroughs, hyper-realistic vegetation settings, or still renders, I’ll guide you with screen-shared walkthroughs to simplify the complex. Together, we’ll build templates for re-use, set up lighting, materials, and animation sequences, and turn your models into immersive, polished environments.

Lessons are built around your project and your pace—start from zero, work toward a final output, or just sharpen specific areas. Just reach out and we’ll tailor a path that works for you!

What we can cover

• Setting up cameras, sequences, and flythroughs
• Lumen lighting & post-processing
• Metahuman configuration, poses, and animation
• Optimization tips for large scenes
• General troubleshooting for architecture workflow

• Unreal interface & viewport navigation
• Importing geometry from Rhino/Blender/SketchUp
• Basic lighting & environment setup
• Materials: creating and editing custom textures

About your instructor

I’ve developed and taught university-level courses centred on Unreal Engine, and led many students—individually and in cohorts—through its unique (and sometimes challenging) workflows. My approach is informed by hands-on experience and a belief that this software has massive potential to reshape how we represent and experience architecture.

I’m interested in what Unreal makes possible: not just cinematic renders, but spatial atmospheres, animation, interactivity, and imagination. If you’re unsure where to start or struggling with the software’s quirks, I’ve been there—and I’ve guided many through it. My teaching focuses on clear steps, smart workflows, and achievable outcomes, while encouraging your creative direction.

Whether you’re preparing a project, chasing that cinematic effect, or simply curious about new design territory, I’ll meet you where you’re at and help you get further, faster.

"Oliver is a great teacher who listens to my needs carefully and construct teaching schedule efficiently. As a cinematographer, I was hoping to create pre-visualization on Unreal Engine. After 10 lessons, I was able to complete what I wanted to do. He was the exact teacher I wanted to have. I really recommend him to be your teacher for Unreal Engine."

"Oliver is an excellent teacher. Once we start the first class, I can see that he has vast knowledge about Unreal Engine. He is confident in showing his projects and how they would be useful for what I want to achieve with his tutoring. He also explains our goals for the upcoming classes. Great professional!"
